Work and Education:

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]At the age of 12 I started delivering papers for the Salina Journal. When I was in the 7th grade, I was employed as a ticket taker at the local Drive-In and downtown theater. My junior and senior year of high school I worked at a Texaco gas station. I graduated from Smith Center High School located in Smith Center, Kansas in 1966

I worked my way through college working part time for Dillon’s Food Store in Hays Kansas. I graduated from Fort Hays State College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”17″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Business History:

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]After graduation I received an SBA loan for $10,000 and opened Willmeth Craft & Things in The Mall, Hays Kansas, retailed craft supplies during the macramé craze and completed my 5-year mall lease and moved the company to Lincoln, Nebraska.

In 1980 I Purchased Dick’s Hobby Shop in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska and named it Craft and Things. Because of down town street renovation, the business was liquidated in 1984.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”19″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]In 1984 I moved to Kansas City to start working for Flower City to operate their first Christmas On The Mall seasonal store. I was a supervisor opening regional mall stores from August through November. Then, I supervised stores until their closing in January. The company had 72 seasonal Christmas stores throughout the United States.

In 1989 I moved to Houston, Texas to establish my own seasonal Christmas stores, A Touch of Christmas. I leased temporary inline retail spaces in regional malls during the Christmas holiday season. The stores were known for their beautiful windows and creative in-store visual aid displays.

In 2002 I started a Christmas web site. The web site was so profitable that I stopped operating the seasonal mall stores and continued to sell my Christmas inventory on the internet. https://www.webechristmas.com/

Amazon sales were started in 2011 and we are a prime seller now with over 3,000 items listed. www.amazon.com/shops/halloween-and-christmas-decorations[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”20″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]In July of 2013 I purchased land in Norton, Kansas and constructed a 12,000-sq. ft. warehouse where my internet sales are shipped today.

I have been researching the Cannabis industry and its future since 2016.
